Sui Jianguo
Sui Jianguo, director and professor of Sculpture Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts, vice president of China Sculpture Society. As the earliest and farthest Chinese sculptor in the direction of idealism, he is one of the most significant contemporary artists in China. He has participated in The First National Sculpture Design exhibition in 1984, Contemporary Chinese Sculpture A Cross-Strait Exhibition 1994, The Barcelona Chinese contemporary art Fair 1995, Shanghai World Expo 2010, the British Museum 2012, etc. He has also held solo and double solo exhibitions in Beijing, Taipei and Japan. Some works are collected by art institutions internally and abroad.
