Hazló
Hazló, born in 1954, is a modern Fresco painter who lives in Provence (Southern France). In late 70’s, he worked as a garden designer. During the 80’s, he worked a Saxophonist with a Rock and Roll band (“Raoul Petite”) and then started creating artworks in late 90’s. Hazló has Involved in bringing the Traditional Fresco technique back to the status of a Contemporary Art discipline of its own, and transposing the thousand-year-old Fresco Painting mineral process from mural into board painting. Earth and Fire, Water and Air : The four basic elements are required for the transformation process of the little quicklime crystals, and also the basic structure form of the nature. Hazló dives into the painting state what he called ‘The Void’ and mixes these original material with it together, that creates a unique paint. The artwork seems to be able to transcend time and space, resonating with the deep parts of human soul that are common to all ages.
