Shen Shaomin
Shen Shaomin was born in 1957, Heilongjiang, currently lives and works in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Sydney, Australia. He is used to work with multi-media, within multi fields, and his works inclued installations, videos, documentaries, conceptual paintings, poetry, interactive public art, etc. Shen Shaomin cherishes the fragile and ephemeral life of small human beings, and at the same time is deeply afraid of the ubiquitous and continuous destruction of living environment made by human beings; but his creation still reveals sincere inner wishes , as well as a strong sense of concern of society, reality and environment. His works are collected by many well-known art museums, universities, foundations and private collections around the world.
