Hu Qinwu
Hu Qinwu was born in Shandong in 1969 and now lives in Beijing and Hangzhou. He was graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, which is a famous contemporary painter, photographer and printmaker. He was as a special tutor in the Material Art Studio of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and an artist in residence in Daejeon, South Korea. Since 2008, most of his works have been exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne (Australia), and they have also been exhibited in Beijing and other cities in China. In 2018, he held a double solo exhibition with Charlie Sheard in Beijing. He is good at using multiple materials to express the boundless world of his heart, using rational production methods to approach the understanding of the spiritual heart, and the looming dots in most of the works represent the infinite cycle of rebirth and elimination, showing the alternating between certainty and negative process.
